My Training

I earned my undergraduate degree in English Literature at University of Southern California before getting my Master’s in Social Work at New York University. In New York, I focused primarily on working with children, interning as a social worker in the educational system, and studying child development.  My interest in storytelling led me to the field of Narrative Therapy in my post-graduate training at Southern California Counseling Center.  There I further discovered the strength of stories that create and solidify oppression, but also the influence of those stories which open space for hope and love.
