Children

I have a deep respect for children’s resiliency and make it my job to meet them on their level and develop a therapeutic relationship where all of their feelings are validated and accepted. My goal as a therapist is to empower youth with the emotional armor they can carry into adulthood. The power of early intervention is extraordinary; children who receive therapeutic intervention are better equipped to handle the stressors of adult life. I perform Child-centered, strength-based play therapy in a safe and warm environment. Children can more easily express their inner life through the art of play, allowing them to be creative problem solvers. In addition to meeting with your child, I recruit caregiver(s) regularly to ensure that therapeutic intervention is making an impact outside of sessions.

Teens

As a Los Angeles native, I know from personal experience that the pressures of growing up here are vast and a lot of our youth are continuing to feel the effects. Anxiety, depression, trauma, body dysmorphia are some of the results of living in a city that values the external rather than the totality of who we are. Social media has exasperated the need to compare ourselves to some unattainable goal. I help teens and young adults connect to their true values and hopes and dreams for the future. I have been fortunate enough to witness teens and young adults find genuine confidence to achieve the life they want for themselves.
